About Med-Gym

Understanding the programme

Med-Gym is a medical-grade strength, mobility and recovery membership by Total Body Confidence. It combines EMSculpt Neo / EMFunction sessions, 3D Body Scan progress tracking and, depending on your membership option, Lymphatic Pressotherapy to support body conditioning, movement, recovery and long-term physical wellbeing.
No. Med-Gym is not a replacement for the gym, exercise, physiotherapy or rehabilitation. It is designed to work alongside your existing routine, helping support deeper muscle activation, strength, mobility, recovery and measurable progress.
Using advanced muscle stimulation, Med-Gym can support a level of muscle activation that is difficult to achieve through voluntary exercise alone. This can help supercharge your results, whether your focus is performance, strength, recovery, rehabilitation or everyday movement.
Think of it as next-generation training and recovery support for your body.
Med-Gym may be suitable for athletes, regular gym-goers, people returning to exercise, people recovering from injury, those experiencing stiffness or reduced mobility, and anyone wanting structured support for strength, recovery and body conditioning. All members are assessed for suitability before treatment.
No. Med-Gym can support people at different stages of their movement journey. Some members may already train regularly, while others may be rebuilding strength, confidence or mobility before becoming more active.
No. Med-Gym is designed to be unisex and suitable for both men and women.
Your sessions take place in a private, discreet environment with exclusive use of the gym space, making it comfortable and female-friendly as well as suitable for men who want strength, mobility, recovery, body conditioning or performance support.
Yes. Med-Gym is a separate product and membership experience by Total Body Confidence.
Treatments & Technology

What happens during sessions?

Depending on your membership option, Med-Gym can include EMSculpt Neo / EMFunction sessions, 3D Body Scans with app access, and Lymphatic Pressotherapy. Standard and Accelerate include EMSculpt Neo / EMFunction sessions and 3D Body Scans. Premium also includes monthly Lymphatic Pressotherapy as part of the membership.
No. Lymphatic Pressotherapy is included in the Premium Med-Gym Membership only. It may be available as a separate add-on for Standard or Accelerate members.
EMSculpt Neo uses HIFEM® technology, which uses magnetic fields to stimulate deeper muscle contractions. Standard EMS uses electrical currents through pads on the skin surface and tends to provide more surface-level stimulation.
This means EMSculpt Neo / HIFEM® is designed to support deeper muscle activation, conditioning and strengthening in a way that is different from standard EMS treatments.
Yes, where suitable. Your session can be tailored around your goals and the areas you would like to focus on, such as abdomen, glutes, legs, arms, calves or functional areas requiring support for recovery, mobility or rehabilitation.
Yes, your sessions can be adapted depending on your goals, suitability and what your body needs at the time. For example, one session may focus on strength and conditioning, while another may focus more on recovery, mobility or pain support.
A muscle strengthening and conditioning session can deliver up to 20,000 muscle contractions. To put that into perspective, even if a very fit person completed 1,000 crunches per day, it would take around 20 days to reach that number.
Med-Gym is primarily positioned around strength, body conditioning, mobility and recovery. EMSculpt Neo may help support fat reduction in certain treatment areas where appropriate, but results vary and the membership should not be viewed as a guaranteed inch-loss programme.
There is usually no recovery period required, and sessions are designed to fit around everyday life, work, training and recovery. Some people may feel muscle fatigue afterwards, similar to the feeling after a workout.
Progress Tracking

How your progress is measured

The 3D Body Scan helps track progress over time. It can show changes in body shape, measurements, posture and body composition, with access to an app so you can follow your progress more clearly.
No. Med-Gym HealthView is not included in any Med-Gym membership as standard. It can be added separately as a one-off or regular scan for members who want deeper wellness and health-risk insights. It combines a Preventative Health Scan with a Cellular Health Check and does not diagnose, treat or provide medical advice.
